So, by now I’m sure that most of you have heard the unfortunate news of there not being a collector’s edition for Killzone 2. I’m not sure who decided against it, but I think it’s kind of a let down for long time fans of the series.
In one of the longest Killzone 2 threads that I’ve ever seen in any forum, neoGAF poster, Private Hoffman stuck it to GamesRadar.com(don’t bother reading their Killzone 2 articles) for writing some ridiculously comical Killzone 2 previews. In short, they seem to be doing any and everything in their power to downplay the game and some folks just had enough of it.

Man I was disappointed when they announce there wouldn’t be a collectors edition.I’ve been craving for collection edition since the originals release.
This is crazy, I mean Killzone 2 is one of the most important games for the ps3, lots of work, time and money has been put into it. Plus it has got a very large amount of fans.
I dont really understand because they have collectors editions for games that are not that iportant to the ps3, Jericho, Fallout, Far cry, Resistance 2. Yes they are great games but not as big as Killzone 2. Bad move Sony you will regret it, I must say I feel very let down.
Indeed, I was so hoping for some nice KZ2 CE. It’s really not cool, because i’d love a helghast statue in my room
