PS3 Slim Launch hits like a Tornado and shocks the Media!
Many of us have been interested in how the Playstation 3 Slim launch would do and it seems it has been received extremely well. So well in fact that I’ve already seen some of the Anti-Sony Spin pop up and it’s so comical, it’s the first time I’ve enjoyed it. Either way the sales numbers are coming in around 500,000 units worldwide for the week. We’ll have to see how the numbers continue but it’s nice to see that more gamers will “Jump In” to PS3. All consoles closer in price lead to a much more competitive outlook this Holiday.
Now that the Slim is in and thinking, it looks like the PSPGo will be up next this October 1st. I’m thinking this “PREMIUM” Handheld will make for an interesting launch. So what color are you getting?

Glad to see such numbers rolling in, proof that it really was price that people were stumped on. I just read that Japan sold 150,000 first week, while only 88,000 were passed out during initial launch of the original model.

Hmmm good to know the sales are up there. If Im lucky enough get a PSP GO at launch, methinks I’ll go for the white one, just for a change. My current 3000 is silver and that doesnt cut it so much for me. Either way, either color, eventually Ill have one

Wow that pick has nothing to do with the ps3, but its a good pic. I believe that the PS3 Slim will keep selling well throughout this holiday for sure. “PREMIUM” what a funny word all I remember is you and DAbucket arguing over PREMIUM. Good times.
The only thing I’m liking about the GO is the Bluetooth, can’t wait to see what all it can do. As for the Slim, I’m kicking myself for not hearing about its stats earlier and selling my old PS3 4 months ago to a nub.
If you’ve got a original 60GB you’ll get a nice wedge of cash for it on e-bay Sayuu89. Which you can use for a slim. I won’t be getting rid of my 60GB though. I love it too much!
Unfortunately I got a decent deal on a pathetic 40 Gig; it looks like I’m driving both my current car and my PS3 til they die.

Premium….???? I want my Hummer! lol Piano Black all the way when i get my Go but it wont be for a lil. So can we buy that tombstone for the Xbox360 yet. 2 out of the three of my friends who have been xbox supporters traded in there xbox360 for Ps3 Slims. So far so good.

anyway, I did my part convincing a friend to buy a PS3 since he had money to spare but he didn’t go for the Slim instead bought the 80 GB, stating he doesn’t want to gamble unless tested and says since I had my PS3 for almost 2 years now, he wanted the same model as mine….don’t worry I already told him, he’s a little looney to think that…hmmm we can’t really tell, gawd I hope No YLOD would surface.
