Killzone 2 – One Year of Madness

This week marks the first year of Killzone 2. Time sure has went by quickly, especially when considering that there was more than just Killzone 2 to squeeze into 2009′s busy videogame releases.
The official word from Killzone.com is that they’ll be running a few contests and special features to mark their first year of success. So be sure to check out the site for more info on that.
Overall, I felt that Killzone 2 lived up to it’s expectations and a bit more regardless of what the naysayers were hoping. Good job on Guerrilla Games for pulling it off. I also have to thank them for the headache that the game was to finish on the Elite difficulty mode.

The one thing that I wish they did do was extend the campaign via DLC. The multiplayer map packs were pretty great but I would have felt a little bit better about a more conclusive ending the the Killzone 2 story. I’m not a fan of cliffhangers.
I really have no clue how they can top this with Killzone 3 since the game has already raised so many bars. I just can’t wait to get back into the campaign.
What did you all enjoy or dislike the most about Killzone 2 and what are your expectations for the next game in the series. Speak up.

I too wished that they extended the story with DLC. Here’s hoping KZ3 will have co-op!
Hey Clinton…. Omni and us are going to record tonight around 7:30 are you going to be able to make it? Omni wanted to get a hold of you but said he hasn’t been able to. Let me know

Here’s to Killzone3
Do we have any idea when killzone 3 is planned for release? Hopefully not another 3 year wait! Just 4 more days till Heavy Rain! I cannot wait to play this game and see how the story unfolds.
Hopefully Guerrilla Games will mention something at the GDC.
