Are you ready for a Journey?

With E3 over most games for all consoles have been brought to light, but one PS3 company hasn’t gotten their game noticed as much as I think it should have. Thatgamecompany is the former maker’s of the PSN exclusive Flower, and are now hard at work at what can only be described as another new genre and style of gaming. The game is Journey.

Journey is set in an art style from something out of a Tim Burtin’s mind in a painting. While a lot of the game is truly unknown the creator’s have said the game will give each person a chance to have their own individual journey, and will make you focus on the world and life around you rather you being the main focus in the game. It will take away your empowered feeling you get with 99.9% of all games and make you feel like one grain of sand being moved in an ocean current. One really exciting part to the news of this game is the addition of some online aspect giving you the ability to possibly communicate or uncover others own personal journeys and pasts.  I don’t think fans of Thatgamecompany’s work will be disappointed with their new game considering the great new ideas that always seem to be coming from the strong team. Let’s all wait and watch for what they have in-store for us next.
