Fat Princess- Fat Roles Impressions

For a while I have been MIA on the Fat Princess fields of frosted battle, but with the newest updates and DLC I decided it was about time for me to pop my head back in and say hello. Starting with just the update itself I found a lot of great improvements and some pretty cool add-ons at no extra cost. One new feature is a party system letting you invite 4 players onto a squad. Also there is a new private match system for any group to have there own matches such as a clan or small website. With both of those added for free lets move on to the paid DLC.
The down-loadable content consists of 3 new character bases with some cool new tricks up there sleeves. The new three character classes are Pirate, Ninja, and last but not least the GIANTS. The pirate and ninja are both armed with a sword and projectiles such as a flint lock pistol and ninja stars. While both are great on their own one of the coolest things are hidden abilities. For the pirates you can call in cannon balls that can take out a group of people or the front doors to a castle in one or two hits. The ninja well lets just say now you see him and now you don’t. Invisibility is the name of the game with the ninjas letting you sneak up on enemies, take advance points with stealth, or my personal favorite passing through the opposing teams doors to their castle while they are fully constructed.
Now with that all said and done about the famous pirates and ninjas we half to hit on the overshadowing GIANTS. There is no Fe Fi Fo Fom about it these bruits are tough and hard to match up on if your not a giant yourself. Not only do they have enormous power but they have a special move as well that might bite off a little more then you can chew. Their specialty is locking on to an enemy and eating them up feet in all. While this is a one gulp kill for them its also the only way for them to replenish there health with out a Priest around.
Needless to say with all these big changes made the game has improved greatly, and has been given more depth and ways to create plans for success while playing any given match. While Fat Princess is just a PSN title the price is the only thing small about it. Fat Princess was a solid game before with great fun to be had for hours, But now with over 12 online maps it has transformed into one of the best multi-player experiences that can only be played on the PS3. If you don’t own it I would definitely recommend it for anyone who likes multi-player experiences that will last you not days but give you weeks if not months of entertainment.
