Kevin Butler is Ripped Off
Well a few months back a TV company called TV3 must have seen sonys Kevin Butler montage commercial and really liked it. How much did they like it you ask. Well enough to get a Guy and dress him like Kevin Butler and go almost word for word to the original commercial. At the end the guy who was acting like KB had a long hair rock wig on, and a guitar with confetti coming down. Below are some pictures of the commercials in time sequence with a response from Kevin Butler himself.
When Sony’s marketing man Kevin Butler was asked about the adds that were copying his every move he quickly replied, “It’s clear to me that TV3 appreciates great advertising and I’d like to thank them for their efforts. In fact we’d like to help them out and make our ENTIRE LIBRARY OF COMMERCIALS available for them to copy in order to promote their programming.” Man with talent on the fly like that it is clear why sony hired Keven in the first place.
