Killzone PS3 in September = Incorrect
Silly rumors come and silly rumors go. What’s best, is when they’re debunked. The latest ruckus on the `net was that Killzone for the PlayStation 3 is going to be released in September. Guerrilla Games was quick to frag this rumor. Details below.
In the latest issue of GamePro magazine, they said:
Killzone has been confirmed for a September release. Considering what we saw, gameplay-wise, at GDC in March, I think pushing this incredibly hyped and anticipated FPS out too early is a mistake, but it will sell like chocolate-chip hotcakes even if it’s another partial turd like the first.
Wow now GamePro. Here’s what Seb “motherH” of Guerrilla Games had to say:
That is incorrect. I don’t know why they would think this. Killzone for PS3 is not being released at that time.
Case dismissed. Now back to my Killzone Liberation online killing spree.

lol, I’d really like to know where all these magazines get their “cofnrimation” on stuff like this.
I’m betting it’s the Gamestop.com homepage, which just randomly assignes a month (lol, anyone remember the August 2005 release date for Killzone PS3?)
It would be silly to think a game we haven’t seen a single screenshot from was going to be released in 2 months. When has that ever happened?
No need to rush games. im sure its gonna the best FPS of all time better then Resistance.
What I don’t understand is, when they want us to think its coming out. I mean if its coming out after september then don’t you think that they would want us to think its coming out before then? Then I’m guessing its coming out before then. I hope.
Can they at least show a pic of the game?
I say take your time. No point rushing it. If it is rushed and turns out
to be bad because of being rushed, its over. No one will go back for
seconds if the first time on the PS3 fails. I think the game will be
awesome. All this time being spent putting the game into the shape
we hope it to be will be worth the wait. It’s the one game I want
over all the rest (present and upcoming). It WILL rock.
